By obtaining this card, attorneys can enjoy a range of benefits that enhance their daily court experiences. Whether you're attending hearings, filing documents, or conducting legal research, our goal is to provide you with the tools you need to excel in your practice.

 

For Attorneys

If you prefer to submit the form by mail, complete the 2026-2027 attorney application and mail with a copy of your valid driver’s license and a check in the amount of $80 made payable to the OCBA. Please email a digital photo* in .jpg format to Carolyn Cochrane by email. The card will be mailed to you within seven business days.

Legal Support Staff

Complete the Legal Support Staff application and have it signed by an attorney as well as notarized. Mail the notarized application, a copy of your driver’s license, and a check in the amount of $80 made payable to the OCBA. Please email a digital photo* in .jpg format to Carolyn Cochrane by email. The card will be mailed to you within seven business days.

 

The OCBA is required to conduct a Florida Department of Law Enforcement background check for investigators, couriers, court reporters, legal assistants, secretaries and consultants.
